The honey extractor has a medium (or higher) capacity. It is designed for medium to large apiaries. The honey extractor is fully automatic, has a control panel. It is equipped with a drain valve and has great stability due to the robust and well-designed frame with a cross member assembly.

Detailed characteristics of the MK-6(230):

1) The material, the honey extractor is made of:

- AISI304 food-grade stainless steel, tank wall thickness 0.8 mm, tank bottom thickness 0.8 mm, cassettes are handmade from a 4 mm thick bar (AISI304),

- Steel 3, from which the frame and all external fasteners are made.

2) The number of cassettes and their work during pumping:

There are 6 fully rotatable cassettes, sized for a Dadan, Ruth frame in the honey extractor MK-6 (300). The principle is quite simple: when pumping cassettes turn to the tank (become fully in chord mode) and under the influence of centrifugal force, honey is pumped out from the frames one by one from each side due to the reversal function. In one pumping process you can pump the following number of frames:

• 145 mm - 12 pcs,
• 230 mm (Ruth) – 6 pcs,
• 300 mm (Dadan) - 6 pcs.

3) Control panel (with manual adjustment option):

The honey extractor is equipped with a control panel that is designed and configured specifically for the maximum pumping result of this type of honey extractor. The extractions are performed fully automatically without any human intervention due to the control panel. The control panel is programmed with 6 honey-pumping programs, 4 of which are set to cassette (chordial) pumping, which allows to choose the best mode for pumping different types of frames and minimizes the possibility of damaging the honey extractor. The pumping time depends on the selected program, and ranges from 3 min. to 5 min., depending on the honey viscosity, the type of frame and the selected program. The control panel has a manual override option for any of the programs. For protection during operation, the control panel is equipped with an emergency stop button, the tank with the frames is covered with a special protective plexiglass (also serves as protection against contamination) which is attached to the hinges.

4) Drain valves:

For draining the honey from the tank of the honey extractor, there are two welded drain valves, also made of AISI 304 stainless steel, with an internal diameter of 57 mm and a lid that can be opened in different directions (for convenience).
